I contracted a helicopter to fly me around the beach and marsh area around Hilton Head Island. While shooting the amazing color of the ocean and the graduated tones of sand of the Carolina Coast I saw this lone runner and captured this image while hanging out of the open door of the helicopter.

While I do not support circuses or the captivity of animals, the opportunity presented itself for me to photograph entertainer with his 260 lb alligator.

While driving along a coastal road early one morning I came upon this beautiful salt marsh with dead Oak trees. There are several lovely images from this series available.

I photographed this serene view of an ocean dock on Hilton Head Island shortly before Hurricane Mathew took it away in 2016.

One of the Souths mainstays for beautiful photographs are Live Oaks. There are many of these giant tranquil places that remind one of the beauty of the Old South.

 This image was photographed on the North Shore of Hunting Island before Hurricane Mathew changed the coast line.
